A little bit about me
Richmond, Growing up on the coast, I lived and travelled overseas before settling in Melbourne where I embarked on a career in marketing and event management.
I adore the beach, sunshine, fresh air and, of course, spending time with family and friends. Apart from meeting fantastic couples and working with them to create a ceremony that makes them, and everyone attending their wedding, really happy; I also love writing, travel, good wine and coffee, yoga, mexican food, too much chocolate and laughing! |
I decided to become a wedding celebrant for two main reasons. The first being that I watched a lot of friends struggle to find a wedding celebrant who was vibrant, contemporary, ‘got’ what they wanted, and delivered it in a relaxed, genuine and engaging way. They didn't want a 'template' ceremony that said nothing about them, or their personal story or style...
Secondly, I was the Communications and Marketing Manager of the Cancer Council’s Support division. Although it was really rewarding work, it could also sometimes be quite sad, so I wanted to find a passion where I could work with people that were in a happy place to balance that sadness out. And.. what better way to do that than being involved in weddings?! |
So, that brings me to now - I specialise in creating personalised, bespoke, relaxed wedding ceremonies for couples who want their ceremony to be contemporary yet meaningful.
Although I am now based in Barwon Heads, I have been lucky enough to travel far and wide for my ceremonies, and am more than happy to do so. |
